Christine was introduced to the entertainment world through her family’s business. The daughter of a professional magician, she assisted her father in his magic shows and clowned around with her family since she was five years old. After graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from Penn State University in 1996, Christine continued pursuing her love of entertainment as a Properties Master. She has since worked for several companies including The Florida Grand Opera, Wayside Theatre, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, and ReVision Theatre.
One of Christine's proudest accomplishments to date is her work as the Properties Supervisor for the Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. For ten years, she had the pleasure of teaching and working side by side with undergraduate and graduate students, helping them learn how to be Property Masters. During her time at Rutgers, Christine worked on Broadway with Hal Holbrook’s “Mark Twain Tonight!” and Off Broadway with “RFK” and “Dr Sex: The Musical. Christine has moving to the next phase of her career as a project manager and set Decorator.
She holds a Masters of Entertainment Technology from Carnegie Mellon University and is a recipient of the Entertainment Technology Center’s 2011 Tornado Award. While working on her degree, she had the pleasure of working on the Yume Project and Kokoro Robotics. Her team developed enhancements to the companies DER-1, Yume. They enhanced the robot’s character and physical look while also developing a new system to animate it more efficiently. The team and their work were featured in the August 2011 issue of National Geographic Magazine. Currently, Christine is working as a consultant for Walt Disney Imagineering's Prop Department. She is working on several projects throughout the parks including the new expansion to the Magic Kingdom. She looks forward to continuing her work with the Prop Department.
